:bang: Here is the setup. IDCS 100 lines 1-3. Line 1 is in use, next call comes in and rolls to Line 2. Line 2 will ring twice, the reception answers and gets dead air, hangs up. Line 2 immediatly rings again, reception answers and the caller is there. Caller is unaware of this. So this is at the incoming side.

Or switch lines 1 and 2 around and see if the problem moves with the trunk or stays on the same trunk port on the system.

That is exactly what i did pvj and the problem followed.
Now can anyone tell me how to deal with the phone company, to prove to them it is in thier lines.... just kidding got that covered.

do you have caller id on these trunks and if so are the trunks set as CID.

LINE 1 IS CID BUT LINE 2 IS NOT. WHEN I SWITCH THEM I DID NOT SETUP CID ON LINE 2
