Did you do MMC 806 on the slot to tell the system that the card is there? If there was something there before it, then I would clean the database first then install the new card

It's not a problem, I would make sure all the information for the earlier card has been removed in 724. If you haven't done it, try removing the new card do a 806 and change the slot to vacant, power down and add the new card and 806 that card to the slot. Then check 724 for that slot to add numbers

Does the PRI need two slots to operate and you put the Trunk card in the slot after it?

No the PRI doesn't need two slots, some switches do, such as the Comdial DXP. The PRI will work only in the expansion cabinet, there is no way to put the trunk card after the PRI. The PRI has to go in the last slot of a 3/1 cabinet or in one of the last two slots in a 2/2 cabinet. The trunk card will only go to the left.

No, the PRI card will only go into the last slot of the expansion cabinet. The TRK cards can go in any other but the last.

Have you went into MMC 724 and made sure there are 7xx numbers listed next to the trunk card?
