Has anyone heard of this? I just put the system in, did all my programming yesterday. Today the cust got their static IP's so I went to 830 to change the IP but the stupid 'cursor' wont move...

Called the 'no help what-so-ever' desk and was told to default and reprogram (must be korean for "get off my phone")...

what do you guys think?

We ran into the same problem. Did you program the phone system through Office Serv Manager?
If so you must upgrade your Office Manager to the latest release which is 1.09 for the iDCS REL 2. I was able to get the latest patch from Tech Support, and the reason why we had this problem. It must be a bad day at Samsung Land.

Yeah, I had to update my OSM to the latest about a week ago. I'm on v1.09 2006.07.10

That's why I still do 99.9% of all my programming through the phone still. Except for stuff like station names if there are a ton and did's if there are a lot. Other than that it's all KMMC.

well, I did what samsung said.

I defaulted the switch. Then I reloaded the database. And nothing changed.

I think next time they tell me to default/reload I'll tell them that I already did.

I had the same problem and it ended up being the OSM. Do yourself a favor when your entering the IP addresses in 830 do it via the telephone. I know it's inconvienent but not nearly as bad as reprogramming the whole thing.

Here is what you can do. Master clear the database. Then program 830 and 831 by hand. Reset system. Then upload your whole database except 830 and 831. I have had the same problem when using OSM to program 830. Locks up 831 with the ip adress of the Gateway that you entered in 830. Then when you go to change it with either the phone or OSM it will not let you.

Update:

TELECOM's tip worked. I cleared the memory using 811, rebooted, keyed in the IP info using 830 & 831 then uploaded the database (making sure to uncheck 830 & 831).

Thanks for the help!
