I have a ProStar 12/24 with 824 LCD display phones. Periodically the "PAGE" LED lights up and I can not seem to get it to go off unless I reset the system. Any one know what triggers this to come on?

Does it happen on all the phones? One particular phone, is it the same phone or different ones?
12/24 has the same software as the 56/136.

The strange part is the page button is a dedicated fixed key and its only other use is
when you enter speed dials and entering
a pause.
The page button lights when you make an all
call page ,do you any paging issues?

Usually a fixed button with a light lit indicates a feature is turned on for that station. I don't remember the page key though being one that indicated any features. Resetting the system will most likely remove those features from being set like DND etc. I looked in an 816 manual and found nothing, I don't have access to a 12/24 manual any more. Most likely you will find you r answer in a 12/24 keyset user guide.

NOTE: The LED on the fixed PAGE key will only light when an All Page is in progress.
Maybe the page relay is sticking or one phone pages and does not hang up.

I seem to recall the 1224 had the same a/b software mod as the 56/120
I any case the page key is only a page key as Bunnie and I said above .
