Hi there,
Can Samsung DCS 816 systems present the callers numbers on 12-button display phones if the system is connected to two CLIP enabled analogue lines wired to 701 and 702?
We have a Samsung DCS 816 which has been working using 2 ISDN2e boxes attached to its BRI card. When we were using it, it was showing CLIP information on inbound calls.
I have recently given the system to a friend who has a small company and connected it up to 2x analogue lines (both with CLI enabled) but for some reason the system does not show inbound callers numbers.
I cannot remember if this possible and have searched through every MMC.

Is CLI (caller ID)? If so then look at MMC 414. In the US the choices would be normal or CID Trunk. Am not sure of the UK version. I hope this helps!

The software should be supporting it so I would take the advice posted before me.
Note
the 816 is similar to our 616 and the mmc's pretty much match except a few that we dont have or use here
