Ok, I have a 7400 setup with 24 digital extensions on it. When any extension dial 2004 the screen shows "2004804" for about three seconds then selects a line, dials 804 then does an error message from the CO. But whenever you dial any other extension it dials perfectly fine. It is only whenever someone dials extension 2004. And it is not all the time, when I got to the site I was intercomming extension 2004 just fine with no problems. I waited about 5 minutes and then it started messing up. All the intercom is set to ring mode, not auto answer.

I don't know what is up with this, it is a really weird problem. I told the customer I would get her the latest release of the software and hopefully that will fix the problem. But honestly, I don't even know where to start with that. Any ideas guys?

If that don't work try this. Download the current software of the system to your pc. Default the system. You now have 2 options. 1) test the calls in a defaulted system see if the problemm is there 2) load the system software back into the system from your pc. Loading from the pc will not load any of the software pointers. If you load it from the SM then you could be loading trash back in. Do your testing. BE CAREFUL! the 7400 defaults very different from the other systems
