We have a lot of people calling up and sking for directions to our facility and hours for recieving
What is the best way to set up a greeting to explain to them how to get to us.
Should I seet up a virtual vm and leave that as my greeting or is there a better way??

Use an audiotext mailbox and set it up from the main menu ie press 1 for directions to our facility.Record that mailbox and have it send the callers back to the main greeting after the message is played.

You are not asking for routine help but more detailed programming.Get a hold of a dealer and let them help you.If you don't understand how to do what I suggested then you are asking for trouble trying to do it yourself.

Secondly, If you buy a car and the dealer does not explain how to change the cd in the truck when you buy it. Do you go back to the dealer and let them charge you to tell you something that should have been told to you when you purchased it.
All my questions have to do with features of the phone system. I am not asking how to set up a new phone system or even add additional phones. All my questions have to do with existing phones and systems that have features that were not explained to us. And if you have a problem with that then take it up with the dealer that supplied us with this system and maybe they should be removed as a dealer!!!!!

Since you like the auto analogy then think about voiding your warranty when you get out your tools, your not building a new car your just trying to maintain the one you purchased. The same thing applies with your phone system.

This is between you and your dealer call them and ask for additional training, there might be a charge. If you are unhappy with their performance you need to contact Samsung.

An end user is not suppose to be dealing with in depth programming like you are asking for.There is no possible way a dealer could "show" you everything possible that can be programmed or features available either.Your head would spin and you wouldn't remember it all anyway.Besides and this is the beauty of telephone systems no 2 customers would want them to work the same.They all have different requirements as to how they want it to work.You are asking for changes which is a chargeable item.

I have to agree with CMDL and PVJ on this. There are things that customers should be able to do on their own and things that trained certified dealers should do. There are something like over 280 features on the Samsung phone system, to explain all of them in deatail would take a full day and to be honest no one would ever sit through that conversation including myself. My recommendation: Go through the general description of the phone system and voicemail system. Take notes on the things you want to learn about and schedule a meeting with your local Samsung dealer. Hopefully you can work something out where you could learn some basics from them and manage some of the system yourself.

I, also, have to agree with CMDL_GUY and pvj. The company I work for is a Samsung dealer. When we sell a system we ask the customer what they expect from the system and configure it to their satisfaction, I expect your dealer did the same. At that point we give them two weeks of follow-up support at no charge, maybe a little generous on our part but it's worked for us. I call or stop by periodically during that period. After that there will be charges for system changes, but they can always call and ask how to clear a message, add and use a headset or some routine thing at no charge.

What you are asking is not in the catagory of "how to I set do not disturb on my phone?" As benb said, there are over 280 features on the system. You should be able to locate them on the documentaion you should have been provided. Some of those features require training and experience to implement or you risk seriously fouling up the system. Contact your dealer, ask for training if you want to learn the system, and remember that education isn't cheap. You can get trained or you can have Baptism in Fire. You can also void your warranty.

Oh, and adding additional phones is probably easier than what you are asking.
