We have an FX system with around 45 stations. All of the stations are 8324F's.

I have several stations complaining about their sets not ringing. Which I have verified. The problem is then easily rectified by pushing the volume up button on the set. However the problem reoccurs at seemingly random times.

What do I need to check to better handle this issue. Could this be a card going bad, a setting that I am missing, or do I just happen to have a bunch of bad sets.

I do have full access to the system.

Are you setting the rocker switch while the phone is receiving income ring?

No. When the phone is idle. It does show the ringer volume adjustment on the LCD.

Normally that happens because the user's adjust the volume after a call thus turning their ringer off. It sounds more like a training issue.

When adjusted, from what seems to be a mute, the volume on the ringer volume indicator starts on 2. Not from 0 as you would expect. I have 7 of 49 stations reporting this problem intermittently.

I am not so sure that it is user error, no matter how much I would like it if it was. Our system tends to be quiet and if adjustment is needed it is usually to turn the volume up.

Hi

After adjusting the volumne you need to press intercom **7 to lock it in. If not it will go back to the old value (in your case off)
