I need help: Let me preface this with first. I have called the company that installed our system and they have gone out of business. I have called about 10 phone tech companies in my town and they don't want to deal with this switch. So, now I am looking to see if those of you with more experience than I can assist.
Simply this is what's happening: A person calls the AA takes the call if the caller hangs up the call loops in the call group.
If a person calls and hangs up before it gets to the AA the call is not looped.
So, I need to know where in the AA setup to kill the call?
Thanks for any assistance.

Sounds to me that your phone line does not have the same clear disconnect time as the system.

What system do you have? Do you have an AA card or just the Cadence?
If a person calls and hangs up before it gets to the AA the call is not looped. Where is the call before the AA, ringing the phones first? How do you have this set up?

The phones ring. then if no one answers it rolls over to the AA. If the caller just hangs up, the call loops.

dalionlv, You need to answer the question that RCA asked of you at the very least before we can really attempt to help you out.

I have just a cadence. The call is in the operator group ringing the phones. If the phone isn't answered in a certain amount of time the AA is supposed to pick up. which it does but if the caller hangs up, the system hangs..call loops through.

What do you mean by the call loops? I mean if it hits the auto attendant and the caller hangs up,then the caller should probably go to the operator group. Is that what is happening? The call hits the operator group again and then forwards back to the AA essentially going in a circle? Is the operation the same in day and night mode? Or does night mode take a message in a general mailbox? Also, where are you located? There may be a dealer in town or nearby that can help you out.

Yes keeps ringing the operator group. There is no day/night mode. I haven't set that up. I'm in Las Vegas. There is Reno but that's 8 hours away. Los angeles that's 5 hours away and phoenix wich is also 5 hours.
