I haven't had the chance to use the newer version of officeserve operator yet but I'm wondering if it does screen pops on incomming calls when the program is minimized like officeserve call does?

I got a client that uses the program to answer calls on a multitennanted system (20 + businesses) and is forced to leave the program maximized to see the incomming calls display. This prevents her from being able to do other work while answering the phones. Basically does the new version do screen pops?

It isn't always that easy. Try telling the customer that they have to spend more money on their PC becuase the software won't do screen pops. Although that would work it isn't the solution I think they are looking for.

I haven't come to the boards in a while, so sorry for not answering this sooner.

No, the new Operator doesn't do screen pops. All it is is a couple bug fixes and updates to make Vista work.

Proposing a new piece of equipment may not be a solution, but what about Call? It'll run concurrently with Operator, so just gived the Operator Call also and BAM! screen pops.

Just a thought.

Screen pops are on the slate for future addition to Operator, but to be honest I have a lot of other priorities in front of it, because I have some serious beefs with the interface in general...
