Hi! Got exactly the same problem... On the lcd screen i saw the vm port... then VM.... and finally if i wait, the vm answered...
It's like the system make the connection but the voicemail is slow to respond.

I had the same issue on a site. It seemed when I was in programming and performed a "Save application", one of the ports would lose the voice path. First time I saved 3 times (initial programming) and lost 3 ports. On the status screen I could see the call being answered and even enter keystrokes to transfer to an extension, all with no audio.
Had to reboot the entire system to restore the audio path as there is no way to reboot the SVMi only.
Next time I did a save application, I tested all the ports and 1 had no audio. Reboot again restored.
It doesn't appear to be affected by the maintenance routine so I no longer save after programming.

This has happened to me on my last 3 installs. The 'fix' is to download the vm, default it then squirt it back in. Will then work problem free.................
..........Until the next stupid fault!!!!!

leemc1978, What do you mean by download the vm and squirt it back in; how do I do that, and does it void the warranty. Also, did it resolve the volume issues with the SVMi. Thanks

VIBob, It sounds like he's taking a backup of the SVMi (greetings messages),defaulting it then reloading it from the backup.
