I take that back, you can cut apart a phone and take the audio leads that go to the speaker and wire them to an analog recording device. Then barge in with the handset on the cradle and press record on your recording device.

This is true but there goes the warranty on the phone. There are devices that you can install in line with the handset cord.

I've done that to get external paging at a site with all IP phones. Works great.

I've done it to get overhead speakers to work in a classroom with the keyset speaker phone.

Get a universal adapter from comvurgent. Barge into the call and record. The file goes to your PC which needs a USB port.

We use ACS Recording Jacks (eg. https://www.ahernstore.com/9000-rj-01.html) which plug into the PC's sound card to do the recording. We happen to be using an OS 500, but this solution would work for just about anything. Cheers.

I'm with Avidcomm on this one. Comvurgent makes some nice products that will work great.
