Hi, We have a DCS Compact with a few of these keysets connected. I want to move a couple around the building but they only seem to work in outlets that have the display phones already connected.
Likewise the non display handsets will not work in the display phone outlets.
I guess this is a programming job but I can't find any information that would let a DIYer like me do it.
Can anyone help?

They should work fine where the display phones are located.

Sorry, I failed to outline the objective clearly and that was to get a display phone to work from an outlet that previously had a non samsung Dect Hanset connected. A non LCD Samsung works fine if I plug it in there but the 12B Display phone doesn't do anything. Now I could trace back to the DP and move the pairs around but that would mess all of the extension numbers around the building which won't do.
I want to unplug the existing working non display Samsung handset and replace it with the 12B Display handset. Program the Ext # and name and put the non display phone elsewhere.
If it were as easy as getting a local firm in to do it I would, but everybody I have tried so far wants to sign you up on a maintenance contract for 20 yrs and LCR all your calls for the next millenium.
So if it's possible to DIY this I would like to give it a go.

Welcome to the board. Your request goes beyond the purpose of the forum which is to provide help with user and admin level programming. You could cause yourself a lot of headaches by plugging phones in different jacks. Plugging in different Samsung phones where Samsung phones are currently connected may cause the programming of the buttons to default. Plugging in Samsung phones where non-Samsung phones are connected could cause damage to the phone. You need to find a qualified technician to help with this project.

if it is 2 samsung 12btn phones, they should both work. Does the non-working phone work properly at another location?
