Samsung tech support or call your Samsung dealer. They will have to replace the mail. More than likely all data is lost. You can not just reinstall the operating system, it is propietary. Did you have a back up?

The rule with all the SVMi voice mail systems is to always do a proper shutdown. Trsf xxx - halt the voice mail, the transfer xxx and halt the system - BEFORE ever shutting down the power.
Put a decent UPS and/or 48v aux battery on every installation.
Almost every account we have taken over from other dealers we've gone out and seen the same thing - no surge, no UPS, and tons of quirky voice mail issues.
Edited for MMC's above admin and userguide.

Noisycow: to the board. Please read the FAQ at the top of this forum. We look forward to your input as a qualified tech in the field. On a seperate note and to bring my post in to the topic. Noisycow is correct there should never be a shutdown performed incorrectly. While I agree on that point, I do not agree on the UPS. My reason is this. Most UPS installed do not have a way to maintain a proper ground loop. The one thing you must have for a phone system. I prefer a true sinewave backup and a ground loop eg: isolated ground not building or waterpipe. I can not repeat it enough. ground/bond, ground/bond. Benb is correct you need to send it back to Samsung.
