The client is not very IT literate and wants to be able to change the on call engineer easily ( ie without having to go into the vm programming and changing the dial block). I thought about just sending the vm to an extension and forwarding the extn to the oncall engineer, but he doesn't want to enter the mobile number,
is there any other easy way of doing this?? | | | | Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 4,096 Member | Member Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 4,096 | Either way he will have to interact with the system. changing the number in one mail box is the easiest way as far as I am concerned. Otherwise he will have to change routing in the menu blocks for different instances. | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 197 Member | Member Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 197 | The best way has to be manually setting the mode through the vm. Just give the customer full written instructions on a spreadsheet if he's not too smart. | | | Forums96 Topics94,273 Posts638,989 Members49,424 | Most Online5,661 May 23rd, 2018 | |
