I am looking to start up a nationwide cigar luvers forum on the 'net.
I am unsure about how I go about getting which software I need. I will be using my pc as the host.
Any help would be appreciated.

What would work for you is a weblog, also called a Blog. Do a search for "blog software". Or there are places that can host one for you. ------------------ Together We Prosper

Mitch, I would not recommend hosting a web service on your computer. I would go to Geocities.com and sign up for a free account. In order to do a forum or bbs you will need a cgi-bin however, and that most of the time comes with a charge. You can however get free bbs software from www.phpbb.com, which is a really nice system to use. Anyway, if you need help let me know.
