I have a 3 site iDCS 100 R2. Both remote sites are IP phones. They want 5 keysets at main site and 3 ip phones at site 1, 4 IP phones at aite 2. I created SG for each site and they work OK. But with 12 sets in a SG, not all ring.

Thanks

Max number of stations in a group is 32.

Is the group with the 12 stations set to Unconditional ringing, assuming you want them all to ring at once. And are all the stations in that group actually in the group (add IG key or enter 53 +group number +1 at the station)?

Check the PM I sent you earlier about your other issue. It may help with this one too since all 3 sites are involved in the ringing.

all 4 groups are set to unconditional. The phones in the site specific groups ring OK when each group is called. I programmed a key on the attendants set to forward to the large group. But when she forwards calls not all of the stations ring.

Is there a better way to send inbound calls to the group when the attendant is away ?

PM sent:

How about a ring plan button with the attendant ext being a group in the other ring plan. I'm assuming that your using a full time AA. You could call it break mode. You would need ring plan butotns to put the system back to either day or night as well but it's pretty easy to work with.

Here are the results of further testing today.
I created a group with 4 TDM keysets, and 1 ip phone at each remote site. When I dial the SG all phones ring. When I program a key on set 201 for FORWARD ALL to the SG, only the TDM keysets ring. If I delete the key programming and dial 601 and the SG the same thing happens. I removed all of the TDM keysets and repeated the tests. Dial the SG, the sets ring. Forward to the SG and neither of the IP sets ring. Is there a limitation on using the IP sets in a SG ?

Note to Benb: I tried a RP button, but the customer didn't like it...But, it may be all he can get....

what are youre software versions

ITP's / MGI / MCP?

How are the remote sites hooked up Private LAN / VPN?

If the ITP's will ring in their own group why not have an uncondiotanal group for the TDM's and then have a 1sec overflow group for the ITP's
