I have 808 trunk group to call to other countries (it's Voip line) It works good from office, but many workers need to use this trunk from their homes.
I have SVMi in my PBX, but when i call from home, than get in auto-answer and dial 808 - beautiful girl says: "transforming to extension 808" and then call turn back to the SWMi as busy call.

Does SVMi can direct calls to the trunk?

My PBX is OfficeServ 500

Welcome to the board welcome Sergeant. What you're trying to do is a function of the phone system more than the svmi. It is called DISA. Disa stands for direct inward system access and gives people the ablility to access a trunk for dialing from an outside source. Because of security reasons and the rules of this board I can not tell you here how to set this up. Please read rules at top of this forum. DISA needs to be set up properly to prevent people outside of your business from using the feature against you. You may want to have a certified tech. help you set this up. Also as another option though I haven't done this myself you could probably set the svmi up to give you dial tone but it needs to be configured to do so (you wouldn't dial 808) and the branch of the AA that would do that should be password protected which you can do from an AA menu.

It's easy to protect dialing with password on SVMi.
It's possible to dial without 808, but i need to reach number 8-067-7462540 (or other cell andcountries)
I cant understand how i can assotiate off-premise block with this dialing. (if it's possible)
