Hello guys, now I am having a little problem with an OS7200, This is the cabinet's configuration: MCP - 16DLI - 16MWSLI - TEPRIa - TEPRIa - SVMI20-e.
My customer told me that the Analog extensions (Plantronics T10-H Style) had a busy sound any time they tried to make an outgoing call (Really it was an error tone), I programmed some timers for flash and release and nothing, yesterday I called Samsung tech support and they told me it was a problem with the software, they sent the v4.11 to me, and I upgraded it this afternoon, I am still have the same problem (no in the same frecuency, but it is happening), I am thinking to change the 16MWSLI for a regular 16SLI, I am thinking coul be a problem with the signal for the messaging waiting lamp, I would like to try that.
Please any advise or recomendation.

Hot line turned on for a trunk group with no members? You will get an error tone that way.

In first you mast use lastest software v4.14.
In second try change SLI card.

First of all, 4.14 is not on official release yet so stick with 4.11 for now.

How often is the fault occuring, check your system resources for dtmfs in use.

Sam sung:No SLI extension with hot line, they need to dial 9 first.
leemc1978: That happens like any 5 minutes, but when they have more than 5 user at the telemarketing making outgoing calls, it happens a lot, like every 2 minutes, and sometimes after long time without pick up the phone, as soon somebody makes an off-hook, the error tone comes.

I'll try to change the card today, I'll let you know guys.

Check your system resources (xxx) as I said on my last post. This will tell you what is happening with the DTMF receivers.

There are only 4 DTMF receivers on the MCP so when there is a telemarketing type environment and 4 analogue devices are dialling out at the same time, the 5th call will get error tone as there is no DTMF reciever available. once one of the first four calls finishes dialling, the DTMF receiver is released.

You will need to install a CRM daughter board for the MCP card.

Thanks a lot leemc1978, I din't think about that, really I din't pay attention to that. I am going to order a MFM board,(CRM is only for OS7400)I checked and that card will give the system 12 aditional DSP circuits for DTMF detection.

"4.14 is not on official release"
It's very curiously...

We have complete set all software for 7100, 7200, 7400 with new IT, LaunchPad modules and WebMMC and official docs.

We are in the states, so we are usually a little behind in the software versions.

4.14 will be released very soon. Our testing regimen is twice as involved and often a longer process than in other countries. We dont just release all softwares that come down the pipe. i.e. 2.70 was never released in the US, but it was in other countries. It had some issues that were found in pre-release testing.
