We had a new Samsung system installed about two months ago. For the last two weeks one of the phones red led lights is continuously blinking. There are no voice mail msgs. I have left the installer message with no reply. I've read the manual and can't find this anywhere. Is this a simple fix?

From the keyset 4800 to clear text. Then 42xxx xxx=extension number. Let us know if that worked

IT is usually caused when a user who calls a busy extension (that does not have busy/na to voicemail) gets the MSG option in the display. Users think this is voicemail which it is not. It is a station message that can be cleared as Wrichey said 42 + ext number at that phone with the light. I usually try to tell people during training not to use the MSG feature but it always happens anyway.

"message" can be turned off via class of service so users cant muck about and cause confusion.
