On a DCS we installed years and years ago, the customer is getting a "System Alarm" or "System Alert" (I forget which) on the displays of ringing phones and I have gone through all my user guides and system administrator guides and I simply cannot find the 4 digit code that goes after the 57.

Turning the power off and on does not help and I've not seen this on any other old DCS.

Any idea what the code is?

Thanks, Bunnie

Thank you so much for the 4 digit code, left it for my customer on his voicemail. I can't see why Samsung would not leave this in the user guide, it is for the user to turn off.

Anyway, thanks from both me and my grateful customer.

I have the same issue with Samsung DCS.
System Alert on main phone.
I have PCMMC v4.2 to access the system and I can update everything I need, but I did not find how to see what the alert is and how to reset it.
Any help is very much welcome.

If I wasn't so tired, I'd start a war over this issue. The code to turn it off is in the system administrator's guide, something most anyone can find on the web and download, but for some irrational reason when I posted the code and told people it was in the system administers guide, my whole post was deleted.

Before anyone does that again, please go to Mike who owns this board and ask him if I have really, really stupid judgement.

This is NOT some super secret installer code that can crash the system, this is a four digit code to turn off an annoying alarm that goes off not because the system is ready to blow up but because someone did something by accident.

Good grief Charlie Brown, let them turn off the annoying noise, what is wrong with your thinking?

Would you like to shut up a barking dog outside your window while you were having sex by punching a four digit code? I'm sorry, but our regulations prohibit that information from being posted for the general public, please call your police chief during normal working hours.

Please start a new topic for your issue, this ones five years old. Bunny not sure who did what, but you have a good memory.
