I can not dail out from one of my extensions I dial the number it transfers to a trunk and then says co hung up Any Suggestions

On what system? Is the trunk it picks up a valid one? Access that trunk from another phone and see if it does the same.

Check MMC XXX for that station and make sure dial is set to yes for the trunk in question.
