Hi there,

I have a question about the Hold Recall. My timers are set for 45 minutes, but the station user never gets a ring back, any ideas? I tried this this am with the receptionist, so its not going back there and ringing either...
Thanks,
Dave

Would YOU stay on hold for 45 minutes?

You don't specify the switch you're using, but a few switches out there have a maximum setting which in effect cancels hold recall entirely.

Try going with a more reasonable amount of time- something in single digits.

Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

I meant 45 _seconds_, sorry, this is a Samsung iDCS100R2 switch, btw.

Thanks,
Dave

Well a few questions come to mind.

What system is this?
Were do the phones ring first?
Was it the station hold recall or the system hold recall or exclusive hold recall?

By the way exclusive hold recall happens when the hold key is pressed twice in rapid succession

this is a Samsung idcs100R2, phones ring to receptionist, this is a station hold recall (just pressed it once...).

I have found the timers in the mmc's, but not the right mmc # to actually look at whether the recall feature is turned on for the stations...

Thanks,
Dave

So do the phones ring back anywhere when the 45 seconds is up?If they go right back to reception then look at recall wait time in mmc 501.
