Hello, Does anybody know of a current production hard drive that I can clone by Cadence drive to? The oem is almost $800 from Samsung - My dealer cost.
Since I already have a licensed drive thats about to quit, there shouldn't be any legal probs.
I tried a 20 gig eide drive and made a 2 gig drive C partion and cloned to it, but it won't work when installed in Cadence. It comes up on my laptop and reads "c:\minicmd"
Thanks
Vernon

I beleive the format of the partition is proprietary to Samsung and might be the reason it's not working. Usually when you see c:\minicmd on a real Cadence it means the drive has died.
