OS Softphone works inside our office LAN but when trying to connect remote via VPN I get a "Maximum Softphone License Over!" error.
Can anyone help me to setup softphone from scratch - I'm running out of hair to tear out!

When your connecting remotely you don't still have the local softphone connected do you? If you only have one softphone license only one can be connected to the system at a given time even if your trying to connect with the same extension. Sounds like that may be your issue. The error you are getting indicates that you don't have enough licenses to connect the softphone.

I run into that with our OS100 system also. This happens I think because it sees the IP address change when you move to the outside network. I've had to clear the IP registration for the DN of the softphone before it will work. Kind of a hassle but then perhaps I've not got it set up correctly.
