I just installed Officeserv link & easyset on my server. Using the officeserv 7100, I set Link up to connect via TCP/IP using the default admin password.
When I run easyset, I try logging in to a known station ID using the correct password, but the web application comes back saying invalid password. The link log shows a successful connection to the 7100 and to the easyset client, but I'm not sure why it's not letting me access any hand sets.
According to link I do have a license available (for 30 days).
Any ideas?
Thanks Mike

Easyset uses microsoft IIS on your server, check to see that IIS is set up correctly for easyset, that may be your issue.

I went through my configuration and everything checks out according the the manual. The IIS setup was done via the installer on Windows 2003 Server.
Everything shows connected... I just can't log in to any phones. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance....

I've had troubles using Firefox as the browser... The opening page seems to load ok but nothing beyond that.

I tried both firefox and IE. Both performed exactly the same.

I have had that happen twice. The first time it was simple. Cust went into mmc 101( I think that is the MMC)and changed their password. Reinitialized it and it worked. The other time it has happen to me I had to make sure the folder permissions were set for the easyset folder. Hope that helps

I tried resetting the password with MMC 101 and then tried to connect to that extension - still didn't work.
I ran out of options.. permissions of the easyset folder are very generous.
Any other ideas? Mike

Try setting the process to low in the properties under the default web site for easyset in IIS.

Are you using RDP (Remote Desktop/Terminal Services) to log into the server then open up the easyset? I ask because I ran into the same problem. When I log into easyset from the server console or a client pc I have no problem connecting, but if I remote desktop and then open easyset web page, I get a problem with logging in.
I have no idea what causes it. Reinstalled it 4 times before I figured out this link between RDP and the easyset.

Link and easy set are running as a application not a service so if you remote RDP in you will always have this trouble. Try using a 3rd party app to set link and easyset to run as a service and it wont matter who loggs in it will always run.
