Hi all
This is a little of a strange one.
We have 7200 double chassis inhouse and have just recently decided to make use of our public IP range.
Due to our connectivity to our ISP service, Wireless SDSL, we have had to use two routers, the WIM with NAT and a draytek to allow us to use our range of public IP's, with No NAT.
The WIM will not allow use to port forward through to our VPN server, this using ports 1723 TCP & port 47 (GRE).
So temporarily we have had to use the VPN server on the WIM, this would be fine, except we use RADIUS servers.
IS there anyway to allow VPN Pass through ?
Second issue is that any Outbound VPN connection, which terminates on a DRAYTEK 2800 Series router will not connect.
Outbound VPN connections that terminate on a 2003 server are fine.
These VPN connections have been tested when using a public IP bypassing the WIM and connectivity is fine, so this proves its an issue with the WIM blocking inbound traffic to LAN IP, after requesting VPN connectivity.
What seems very strange is that it only happens with the Draytek routers.
Any help would be most appreciated, as i have to VPN on to many networks for remote management, and dont like putting my laptop in front of the NATed router (WIM), security and all that.
Thanks
Adam
