Is there a way to forward a GROUP?
I have a Station Group (MMC-xxx), 5002 with 11 extensions in the group.
Is there a way to FORWARD that group to an OUTSIDE Cell phone, when they go to lunch, or leave early for the day..
Thanks

Send it to voicemail. Use the ID from Forward Trunk to send that group to its own Menu. Then use the No Entry option to Dial the cell phone. You will probably want to create a new group and ring plan and either use an RP or RTO key.

Create a Virtual Extension set for Ring All = Cell phone number. Then create another ring plan with the Virtual as the destination. Program that Ring Plan button on the main receptionist phone. When she goes to lunch or leaves early she presses that button, enters the passcode and bada bing you are done. When she comes back she can turn it off.
I have this set up for multiple customers, actually some with 4 different ringing destinations. If you button map all Ring Plan keys on a phone it is really easy for the customer to toggle between them and it provides a visual indication of what mode they are in.

Thanks for the info..
I have created a virtual, ext 3280.
And I can set the RP..
But I find, if they set the RP when they go to lunch, they set the RP for all extensions.
I guess, I should've added a few more items..
This is a 360 station phone system.
We have 14 groups setup.
The main receptionist group, 5000 and 5001 used for various things, is separate from the 5002 group. The 5002 group needs to have their own way to forward the GROUP, when they come in earlier or later than the main receptionist group at the office.
And I see if group 5002 sets the ring plan to say (6), just for them.. all extensions set for that.
Oh.. Also.. I don't want to use the Tenant feature, since I have 6 other groups, that may want this forwarding feature.. and setting up a tenant per group isn't an options, since I only have 2 tenants functions.
thanks

Here's another Idea..
example); I setup the main phone number, people call into, of the group, to go to Virtual Extension, 3280.
On 3280, I forward to group 5002.
When they leave, they FORWARD, Virtual ext:3280 to the Cell phone they want.
When they come back, they set forward of ext:3280, back to group 5002.
Whatcha think?

Have you tried the way I suggested? I have done this at several locations without a problem.
