I have a potential new customer who has several Samsung 824 Keysets. I would like to determine if these will work on a Prostar DCS Compact before I proceed. From what he has told me, the actual part number is "824 Keyset" on the back of the phone. The phones I have usually seen with the Prostar DCS Compact are "STD 24B KEYSET DCS". Any help would be appreciated.

The 824 keyset is from the 56/120 or 1224 discontinued about 10 years ago. You would need on of those boxes to make them work. If you need to persue this i took out a 56/120 week ago w/ 30 + sets eq 16 x32.

Something just need to be left discontiued this is one of them. the 816 was a good work horse but there are better systems now available. As for the 56/120 if I remember correctly did they not have power supply problems?

Yes, the 56/120 did have power supply issues.

Thanks for all of your support. I will suggest that they need to upgrade to a new system.
