Hi ,I have 2 Wip 5100Es and have had them registered for a while, but moved the APs to a better place recently, and now one of the WIP phones will not register. I cleared them both in 849 first, then after trials and errors, tried to go back and clear it and in MMC 849 that one won't let you force clear it now. Says Write error. The only thing different I did was move the APs and run new LAN cable(which I tested). I also opened the battery on the working/registered one to check the MAC and it just unregestired itself after I turned it back on. Is there a way to prevent this? Thanks, Eek

It's a 7100. The problem is resolved, though. When I said I tested it, I surfed on the internet with the new LAN , but, I guess the cat5 end was iffy, cause the WAP on that cord would not let the phone associate. Once I redid the ends, it registered fin. Still like to know how to save WIP settings, in case of need to remove the battery. Thanks for all replys.
