So you guys really helped me out on my last no beep issue. Thanks again!

other beep thread

My problem now on this same OS100 with SVMi is an intermittent issue of no beep being heard after the greeting is played. It is reported that it only happens once in awhile and it happens on any extension and of course I am unable to recreate the problem myself.

I am sure at least some of the incoming messages are being recorded because I am told people will leave a message starting with "I didn't hear a beep, I hope this is recording..."

Per my last beep issue I had changed the "wait for entry" setting to 0. I since changed it to 1 just to see if it would affect my no beep issue. But within a week I got another report of no beep.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Thanks.

Has been an issue for a while. Tech support told me a while a go that they had a pill(sp?), or whatever they call it, in to Korea to fix it. Not sure what came of that though.

After Tech Supports suggests defaulting as Foneman69 suggests, then they may offer you the software fix that has been made available in the last two weeks to correct this issue.

Thanks for all the replies. I got side tracked on some cabling jobs but I will revisit this issue again in the next few days.

I'm glad to hear there is a fix! I am going to try to get the patch without defaulting the system first. LoL

Wish me luck...
