I have a customer that has 2 new 7100s network over IP. Everything work great, however one of them from time to time, has it's system date reset back to 1 Jan. The time remains okay. Then later in the day it will correct itself. Neither system is using isdn therefore it is not getting its time from any other source that I can see. has anyone had a simular problem or idea as to what I should look for?

4.14k software patch is needed. You should have received the TSB at your dealership. If not login to GSBN and get it.

According to the latest from Samsung it still is an open issue with 4.14k. Check out the known issues August 2008.

Actually The 4.14K patch will not fix the problem. 4.22 is about to be released and is supposed to fix the problem. Anything other the issue will return. I have been down that road for awhile. 4.22 is in beta right now.

Thanks I am using 4.14k on both of these systems. Thanks for the info on the known issue I hadn't read all the away down on the list.

I meant to say the 4.14k needs to be patched.
Good catch TELCOM I would have let that ride.

I was not going to go into detail in the public forum. I feel that is best left to dealers and others that know what's going on rather than blurting privileged info.

Just an FYI, there is a Trace4.22 load that has shown very positive results available from Samsung. I have installed it on three systems and not seen the issue resurface. Customers now know when to go to lunch!
