hi I am new to the site and this dcs system. my problem is when i try to dial i get a incorrect use display can anybody help please

How exactly are you doing this. If you are pressing a button on the phone what button is it? Welcome to the Board Ralphy. A little detail goes a long way here. What exactly does the display say? if you dial 9 what happens? PVJ's question was ment to extract an exact answer. If we dont know the answers to the questions we cant help you.

ok sorry. I havethe system all install. now i can received calls in but i just can make aany calls out. my questions is How or what do ihave to do to dial a call? from what you are telleing me i have to dial 9 first? i get a dial tone when i pick the handset up as i try to dial ex. 1-718 for the area code i get a display that says INCORRECT USE.

Before you dial 1-718 you must select a line first unless you have the system picking up a line for you. Try this dial 701(line 1) 702 (line 2) etc that should access the trunk.Alternatively like WRichey says try dialling a 9 first. The dialtone you are getting when you pick up a handset is probably internal. The numbers I gave you to try above are default so they will probably work.

Thanks evryone for your help that solve the problem. both of them work i dial 9 and it worked fine also the 701 worked. thank you once again.
