I have a dx-120 customer that wishes to have voice mail trees . Example box 800 answers and message plays saying press one for sales press 2 for shipping etc. I wanted to know do i create another routing box that is pointed to in the single digit translation in the 800 box that then gives individual press one for sam press two for jim , etc. Am i in the right direction or if this is even possible. thanks in advance Oh and this is a corporate office flash 4 port.

You want to create UCD groups in the phone system then point your single digits to the UCD group/s.

to clarify if say box 800 had a message to press one for sales and it corresponded to say ucd group # 1 then there would be another message recorded for a group of say 5 sales people you could them press one for jim press 2 for sam press 3 for dick ect.because i think that is what they want to do.

In that scenario, you might want to add routing boxes, then make each routing box have a menu. 1 for sales would go to a new routing box---then 1 for jim--2 for Fred--etc. Is that what you're wanting?
