Hi
We have a very serious problem with our 7400 system. Users around our facility use the ** or a page button to set off a page to all handsets that are reistered in page group Zone 0 and an external tanoy system.
Recently this system has been failing. Now it happen almost every page (but usually from certain handsets) The symptoms are as follows:
Page initiated
Beeps start to signify page
Beeps continue longer than usual
User cannot perform page
Line goes dead
I have tried swapping the handsets but this has not worked.
I am completely lost for iedeas on this.
Please help

Nothing takes more power than a large group page. Perhaps you have a power fail issue? Are the sets that are having trouble making pages on one DLI16 board?
Remove half the quantity of the phones in group 0, then try it.
Once you try some tests like that done, contact Samsung Tech Support or have your installing dealer call.

I remeber some type of issue in the initial release on the 7400, but I think it was regarding ITP keysets. Does this site have new software or ITP sets?
