I can't access Tech programming, TRSF 800 + passcode not working. Any suggestions. System hasn't been worked on for years per customer and they don't know who previouse phone tech was. Adding CO A1 trunk card for message input.
Thanks,

EDIT: Is this a Prostar or a Compact? If it's a Prostar, I don't think you program with the TRSF 800 feature.
What does the screen say when you press TRSF 800?
Are you sure you are pressing the TRSF key? I've seen old systems where they moved the TRSF key to another location.
Also... is there already a A1 card in the system? You can only have one A1 card.

If you can't get into programming with Trsf 800, you will have to call Samsung with a letter of authorization from the customer and your company stating you are an authorized tech. They will give you a code and your back to the default password.
Second, I think you can put more than one Trunk A1 in a DCS. I did one in the past where I needed more contact closures for External Paging. You might have to upgrade, try and see what happens. That's the easiest. Good Luck

Thanks CIT & phoneman123, It is a Prostar after TRSF 800 it asked for passcode but default returned an error. The system had a C1 card and only 2 trunks.

If you are tech, call me at the number below and I can help you get into the system. As far as the C1 and A1 card, maybe I have them backwards... I can't remember off the top of my head.

A TRK A-1 would give you 2 dial tones capable of Caller ID if you also had an Expansion A-1 card in the base cabinet. It would also give you a MOH source and paging.
You can have up to five A-1 cards for up to five different MOH sources, it just uses up slots.
A C-1 gives you 8 dial tones capable of Caller ID if you also had an Expansion A-1 card in the base cabinet.
There is a back door into resetting the password without Samsung's help but it can't be posted here.
