Thanks KENB guess I need to pull that manual back out. I agree with the conflict thing--thought that might cause a problem. Thanks for the oush in the right direction. Thought I had more time to get this working, but the pres of the company decided there is an urgent need to get this working,--go figure!!

Now, it's coming back a bit. Ports 7 & 8. You'll want to make sure those ports ring on an intercom call, for sure---and make them ring on all outside calls. That may be the integration programs that Ken was talking about.

Also, is this a 2 or 4 port VM?? If you need 4 ports, you may have to purchase a S/L card to make that work.

Also, check in the documentation, but it's possible that ports 7 & 8 may not support the VM--and don't you have to program them to be S/L ports?? Program or dip switch??

JW--I moved the VM to 13 and 14 yesterday to try and get them somewhat segregated fro the other busy-ness. I believe it is 2 port--has 2 cables going to the prostar box. I'm gonna take another stab at it Monday AM--have some company coming this evening--gotta play host. thanks for the input

Just a headsup the 816 integrates to starmail with keyset ports.

If your using 13 & 14 ,stay there ,the programs
I mentioned above now apply to 13/14
You may need to reverse programming in 7/8.

7/8 are convertible ports as s/l or keyset
ports not 13/14 .I am assuming the cards in your 816 are keyset cards ,if not back to 7/8/ you go.

Also heres a little ditty I found,If you have an 816 ,it must be v7 software [on long chips in cabinet motherboard]
If you have an 816 plus all software levels ok.
