I'm working on an OS100 Rev2 where the TEPRI with V1.07 on it keeps dropping. The card is set to T1 with E&M, Wink, B8ZS, ESF and 12 channels. I have work with local telco and it ran clean to the CSU, we did an all night test on it. You can make and recieve calls and talk sometimes 3 on up to 20 mins and with out any warning the call is drop. It then recovers with-in less then a min. I have the following cards in it SCP, MCP, MISC, MGI3, 2-DLIs, SLI, SVMi-8e, TEPRI. The system has been upgraded V2.76. I'm on site any help would be great.

Find out what switch the provider is using and verify you are setup for the operator in PRI Control. 5ESS5 is the most common, but we had a problem once and the carrier was using a DMS100.

I agree on PRI, but this is set up as a T1 not PRI. Thanks

You are correct... I wasn't paying attention. However... if I am remembering correct, ISDN PROGCON still needs to be turned on for a T1.
How willing is telco to help resolve the problem? I know you said they've checked it and it's clean to the CSU... but have they put a T-Bird on the circuit and captured the problem when the system drops?

I work in a Central Office setting so let me ask a few questions from that perspective. I am also not familiar with Samsung telephone systems.
You mentioned that you have 12 channels. Is the T1 fractionalized (split between voice & data) or does the full T1 drop into the telephone system?
Does the Samsung telephone system have some sort of alarm buffer to record any error events relating to the T1 and or other aspects/functions?
Has the service provider noted any carrier errors when the circuit is normalized (no intrusive testing and everything is the way it would usually be)?

The 100 does not have an scp card but I am sure you ment pll (clocking card).
Yes it has an error log. Have you looked at the error log yet? what alarms are showing?

Check your power supply for the bad caps too... We had a 100 with PRI - and it started misbehaving on the pri trunks before any other power supply related problems cropped up. It would do the same - drop calls randomly.
