I have a 50si that the CID stops working. It tells me its not reciving CID info. I hooked a CID box to the lines and it is gerting the info. I can power off system and back on and it will start working.

Does the screen shows No CLI Received or is it just blank?

Like I previously stated, it tells me (shows) it's not receiving CID info.

Check your voltages. By the way the display means every thing here. The wording you used is not correct. There is a huge difference between "no cid received" and "not receiving cid info" That and there are other pieces of info that it might display. If a caller is not sending "deluxe cid" such as a cell service or the older switch networks. You might receive no name and just the number. Are the lines on buttons? Do you see the the line go red for the first ring? Try pressing your NND key does it give any other info? Or is the screen blank like CIT asked? :confused:

As WRichey stated, you telling me you’re not getting CID info does not answer my question. If the screen says "no CLI received" it's actually not seeing the CID from the carrier. If the screen is just blank, there is a setting that needs to be changed.
We will try help as much as possible, but please answer basic questions when asked.

It SHOWS, DISPLAYS, CHARACTERS ON THE DISPLAY, NO CLI RECEIVED. I kind of thought saying it shows no cid info received was basic answer. I didnt say the screen was blank or it shows no name received. Yes there is line apperance for all nine lines. It does it on all the lines. I have a CID box connected to line one. I call line one and get the error on the phone but I get all the info on the CID box. I reboot the system and it starts working again on all lines. From one thing I've read is that MISC1 cards made before 1999 had problems of doing this. I've swapped out the card, but I'm not 100% sure if it's a newer card or not. So now I wait to see if they call to tell us it's has stopped working or not. It could be weeks before we know.
