Hi
Just want some details how to setup Account Code for outgoing calls.
We want: User shall only allow to make local calls only. and if they need to make Toll Calls. One four digital account code is required.
How can we set this up? I think we will need to block toll calls for everyone by default (Use COS). Then ask them to press # (47) to use Account code for toll calls.
I know there is an option call Account Code in IT tools. But how does it work.
Thanks

Depends on if you want Verified account codes or not.
Verified account codes are possible by using the ‘Account Code’ feature.
Account code options: Forced: The ext user must enter an account code before an outside call is possible. Non forced: The ext user may enter an account code before or during any call. The user can also make outside calls without entering an account code.
Keyset Operation Before or during any outside call 1. Press ‘Account’ button & enter valid account code 2. Press ‘Account’ button. 3. You will return to conversation or receive dial tone - make outside call.
Note. 1. If ext is set to ‘forced’ this entry is required before all outside calls. 2. Whilst entering an account code during a call; the conversation is not affected, nor will the outside party hear the entry of any account code DTMF digits.
SLT Phone Before any outside call 1. Dial ‘47’ & enter valid account code 2. Press ‘Recall’ or * button. 3. Make outside call. Note. If ext is set to ‘forced’ this entry is required before all outside calls. During any outside call 1. Press ‘Recall’ button 2. Dial ‘47’ & enter valid account code 3. Press ‘Recall’ button 4. You will return to the conversation
With Verified account codes there are maxium entries and this varies with the model and version system you have.
Can not go into more in the open forum but if you are a registered Samsung Tech in NZ then you have access to the Samsung FTP site and all the info is available for free download.
