Hello again! I have a system that is experiencing no audio in both directions when using 4 digit dial to our other offices.
This happens when the network is rebooted. Needless to say the office uses a cable modem for its network connection. I found that when the cable modem is rebooted, it can't handle more than 2 public ip addresses at once. The ISP provided us with three. Our vendor came down here one night with me and we ended up swapping the vmail and mgi public addresses and everythig began working again. I wanted to reboot the system before anything else. Problem is that I havenot done that using IT and can't seem to find it.
Can anyone else tell me where it is located.
Furthermore, I am a little nervous changing the IP addresses. Should I be? And I guess if the addresses were changed, I would need to build a new profile in IT to log back in. Anybody out there this evening that can help me?
Thanks, Scott

1st of all Never turn off a Samsung without properly halting the voice mail via programming.
What are you trying to accomplish?
Why not have the cable people fix their problem? They have defective equipment and that should be addressed.
There is a reset button on the MCP card.
