Have a Svmi20e everything is working great sending voice mail to email. The question has been asked if the WAV file can be inhanced, since this is a radio station they would like to use the recordings on air.
Thanks

No.
To be honest, I don't think changing the quality of the file would improve the audio quality much because the audio is still coming across the phone. I have worked in radio for twenty-five years and I've never noticed a difference between playing audio from a voicemail and a live caller because, again, the audio is still coming over the phone and that's you limit.

Let me update my last post because I have become spoiled by the audio quality of the IP-UMS. The IP-UMS has a little better audio quality, so if they want to upgrade from an SVMi-20E to the IP-UMS, then yes... they will hear the difference. If you want to hear the difference, send me an e-mail and I will forward you a recorded call from the IP-UMS.
The audio from the SVMi-20E is 8 bit and the audio from the IP-UMS is 16 bit, so you would hear a slight difference. Again… the biggest limiting factor is the phone line.
