I recently upgraded a 7400 to 4.30i and one extension has a bizarre forwarding problem. When it's set to DND, it's path is for voicemail and it works fine when you dial the DID to the extension, but when you call it internally it gives a fast busy. When I do a Forward Cancel and then call it internally, it goes directly to voicemail. Only one extension is doing this and all paths are identical to the others. Note that Forward Busy/ No Answer and DND all work correctly for outside callers. Anyone seen this? Tech support said to try to delete the extension and start over. Thanks in advance!

Fast busy is normal on internal calls with DND turned on I believe.
I have just tested with an extension set to DND on our DCS that has Busy calls set to 529 for Vmail and it gives the fast busy tone.
I know what you are getting at but I've used and adminned a DCS for the past 10 years and no one has ever bought this to my attention. COnsidering the DCS I use now is about 13 years old, I'd say this isn't new to the upgrade..
Simply put I dont know if there is a way to send DND internals to voicemail - The DND is telling the person Don't disturb me.. Otherwise tell your staff to take their phones offhook as a temp solution.
