We have a new 7400 and have had this issue since purchased. Its very odd. When using the Installation Tool software to make changes to a stations key/buttons and the setting is a "1", the system seems to change it to a 193 or blank and the button then stops working.
For example, We setup FWRD ON(1) and FWRD OFF(4) buttons. I turned the FWRD ON, came back the following day and the number "1" is missing from the system seting in the software and if I turn it off then it will not turn back on until I manually change it to 1 again. On some its changing the 1 to a 193.
This happens on other features like CALL, PARK, etc. I set it to a 1 and then refresh and its changed to a 193 or blank.
Any ideas?

Software sounds like a probable issue, like Gerrya asked - IT software level? And 7400 software level?

I have has the exact same issue today with my 7200. When you look at the key programming via the keyset everything looks fine but over the IT Tool the key extenders look strange with random numbers after the CALL/GPIK/VG buttons. Samsung have told me to default and test ( seems to be the answer to ANY issue these days ). I am going to do this on Friday night. I will let you know how i get on.

Try looking at the programming through a keyset. If things looks correct through the keyset, it's a problem with Installation Tool. There are a couple of bugs with 1.30 and 1.40. If you are able to determine the problem is with IT, please either report the problem to your distributor or to me so I can make Samsung aware of the problem.

I did.. When I set the FWRD to 1 using IT, then exit the IT software, go back in, its changed to 193 or blank. I check the phone and the FWRD is still on and working, but if I turn it OFF and back on using the phone, the FWRD does not turn back on.
Understand?

Hi Marc, Everything looks fine over the keyset. I have spoken to Samsung but they are not aware of any issues.

Wiggy, on my system, it seems like any feature.. CALL, PARK, FWRD, etc that I set to '1', it does not like and change to 193 or blank.
Is it doing that on yours?
To test, just set a feature to 1, save and then exit IT go back in and see if its changed. I am doing this on X.X.X MMCXXX, I also did this on X.X.X MMCXXX and it does this also.
EDIT: Please do not post programming information in the public forum.
