Customer would like to be able to turn off auto attendant. I have the auto attendant programmed to play their custom day greeting from 8am - 5pm, and the night greeting from 5pm - 8am daily. If they come in early, they would like to be able to turn off the night greeting and play the day. I believe that I need to add a RTO button to the phone, is this correct? Button is on - night greeting Button is off - day greeting
If I add an RTO button, will the auto attendant still control which greeting is played if they are working normal hours? (If they choose not to use the RTO button?) Thanks for the help!

No in this case use an RP button, that way the system will continue to follow the day/night timers you have programmed, so it will switch to night on its own at 5pm still. The extender of the RP button will depend on what Ring Plan you use for day or night, we use 2 for day 1 for night.

Genesiscomm is exactly right.
The RTO button changes the RP currently in use until you manually cancel the RTO. RP_ keys will activate another ring plan until the next scheduled ring plan change.
