I have two 7100's at two separate locations that are having the same problem. The first system has a MP10 with software version 4.30i and I have SMDR activated. The second system has a MP10a with software version 4.30i and SMDR is activated. About once a week the time/date on the phones display will lock up, will not change. In 505 the time and date are correct. It will stay this way until the systems are reset. If I turn off SMDR there is not a problem with the time and date.
Has anyone had this problem? If so, has it been resolved and how?
Samsung tech support is aware of this problem, but at this time they do not have a solution.
Oh great, I had this problem with a site about a year ago. Time on the handsets would reset to default, but the system time was fine. If I unplugged the handset and reconnected it the extension fixed itself.
A software upgrade at the time fixed the problem. 4.21c was the software at the time, and 4.21d clock fix version was released.
Sounds like the problem may have returned in the new software. That would be my first try. Although we didnt see 4.30i down here, we had 4.30c, then 4.30k, then 4.30L (L was a fix for the SMTP failing on Vm to Email).

There is a solution now. The problem only happens when using SMDR on the 7100. Change the printer settings from "Both" to "PC", reset the call accounting and everything is fine. No more time/date lockup problem.
