Please help me, one of our customers found DCS408 system at their place. And I need PCMMC software for backup. The problem is that we had not shipment such systems in our country, and I nothing know about rom and software versions for it… if you can help, please send software to Andrey(@)ortemir.kiev.ua. I have asked rom version and they have written - v2.2 2003 4.30 But I think something wrong there….In spite of that PCMMC LaunchPad was launched from 2004 04 08. It must be something older…..

v2.2 2003.4.30 is the version of software on the handsets themselves, not the DCS408.

The PCMMC version will depend on the ROM version of the system.

The DCS408 is also known as the DCS12 or DX408 in some other countries.

Can you not ask samsung tech support for your region? they should have it or be able to get it from samsung korea

If memory serves me correct, there was no PCMMC written for the PSTN version prior to version 1.14 (system version can be read via hanstet MMC codes).

ISDN versions however did.

Also you will need to know the software version exactly, as the PCMMC software in that era was not backward compatible and had to be the correct version for the system software.

The latter version of the DCS408's were programmable vis an update for OSM, but again, there was a couple of different versions and you need the correct update for each system version.

You will definately be better to find a local Samsung accredited dealer to help you.

Cheers, Dave.
