Is there a certain version of the 50si that can not have voicemail? I have done EVERYTHING. Default system and vm...change slots...VM shows "starting". Eventually an error mesage comes up..."Problem initializing APP limits (switch type: -1)". The release of the system is 00.03.06 V1.2. Power supply is CKPS-V1C. WHY??????????????? Been through 2 vms.

According to the 50si manual you cannot put a 4 on a 50, however in the SVMI-4 manual you can but you have to put the UPGRADE key on the voicemail.
Software version on the 50 must be 00.09.26 V 1.4 or later.
We typically use the cadence instead.

You can definitely put a Svmi4 on a 50 but as stated above you need the correct software version and the 4 port upgrade key.Your power supply my be alright depending on how the system is loaded.They did have a later power supply that I guess provided a little more power to help run the Svmi but on a lighter loaded system you may be alright.
