I have a 7030 with two BRI's There are 10 DDI numbers on the main BRI and outgoing CLIP has been enabled at the exchange by the carrier. I have made the relevant entries in the outgoing CLIP table per extension, I have allowed outgoing CLIP, I do not have any numbers on the trunks themselves I still however broadcast the MAIN BRI number. Am I missing something??
Thanks in advance,
Brendan

I know on PRI here in Canada, the outgoing CLIP numbers programmed must also belong in the CO as "authorized" - meaning those numbers must 1. belong to the account the PRI is on, and 2. be programmed into the CO "outgoing filter" assigned to the PRI circuit.
This makes it more difficult for customers to send false CLIP info on out going calls - we cant just send any number... That may be the case there in Cork, you might call your BRI provider and ask if its programmed fully.

Sometimes you have to put just 6 digits in the outgoing CLI sometimes you have to put the full number with code. Think i have had it where the main number was sent in 6 digits but DDI sent with full number, or the other way round.

Here in Ireland you put the full number without the STD code are the ddi,s set up by Eircom, they have to be working numbers
is the bri set to hunt. If not you have to dial out on the 2 lines that have the ddi,s pointed to it

Make sure the BRI options are pointing to the correct CLIP table, ive had a case where there was no clip table entry and ext cli wouldn't work because of that. Also what number plan type do you have? national, unknown, etc As down here that determins how many digits we have to send to the network (9 or 8)
