Hi All, We are just closing a sale and the customer had a last minute wrench to throw into the pot. He would like to have DID's that either ring the extension or goto fax. I suspect that we would have voicemail answer directly and say "You have reached Bob's voicemail press 1 to reach him...." stay on the line to fax. Voicemail would do fax detection and send it out an analog port to the fax finder. The question is... Will voicemail pass along the extension number to the fax finder so it can pdf and email the document according to the DID. ie Bob's email address in the fax finder table? The customer does not want to use the Samsung internal fax mailbox thing as it is in tiff format rather than pdf..... Thansk in advance!

What sort of system are you quoting? The voicemail can detect fax calls via menu's and then route that call accordingly.
While I have never tried it from a transfered call, in theory you could use "out of band signaling" on the SLT ports which would pass the DID number which you can then route in your fax software.
